Welcome to Elands

A small mountain community at the heart of the Bulga Plateau.

Little Plain Hall is a community-run hall and campground and a great base for exploring the forests, waterfalls, creeks and villages of the plateau.

Elands is remote, and local services are changing. The former Elands general store has now closed, so visitors should arrive with sufficient fuel, food, drinking water, medications and other essential supplies. There is currently no petrol outlet or general grocery shop in Elands.

The Elands Post Office remains open until 24 December 2026.

From time to time our community also runs pop-up activities and food services. Dates and times may change. Check the current notice at the top of this website before travelling.

Some cards use illustrative photographs of the Bulga Plateau and local bushland.
