A community-run campground
Little Plain Hall is a not-for-profit, community-run campground operated and maintained by volunteers. All money raised is reinvested in the upkeep and improvement of the property.
Campground facilities
Facilities include one toilet, garbage and recycling bins, a small community library and limited tank water.
Toilet location
The single toilet is in the small building at the back of the hall, identified by the small blue tank on its roof.
Garbage & recycling
Garbage and recycling bins are at the rear of the hall. Please help keep the campground tidy.
Community library
The small community library is at the back of the hall, up the steps. Feel free to take a book and leave one if you have one.
Tank water & drinking water
Tank water is limited. Please be water wise and use minimal amounts so water remains available for everyone. We recommend that campers bring their own drinking water.
Water is available at the blue tank and the larger tank attached to the shed. Please bring drinking water; ask the hosts before drinking tank water.
River information & safety
The river is very changeable. Be water safe and watch for submerged logs and other hazards. An established access point does not guarantee safe swimming.
Contact the campground hosts through your Hipcamp booking for current advice before using the river.
Established river-access areas
Established river-access areas are at Site 6 and near the small footbridge by Sites 3, 4 and 5. Check current conditions before using the river.
Caring for the campground
Please help keep the area safe and tidy. Respect the grounds, neighbours and hall activities, and follow the current property rules supplied with your booking.
Questions and suggestions about your stay are welcome through the Hipcamp website.
